I feel compelled to add that “French” fries actually come from Belgium…so the whole “Freedom Fries” brou-haha after 9/11 was even sillier than you may have thought… Now, if we Americans (and our elected officials) would spend half that type of righteous indignation on solving problems like health care costs and quality of education…As Louie would sing, “What a Wonderful World” it would be.
