Service America Snafus
Earlier this week, I received notice from Blue Cross/Blue Shield that they had cancelled my coverage for April….because I’ve not paid for May’s coverage (which isn’t due until May 9, by the way). April was paid for - cancelled check and all - back in February… ??? Some days are surreal…I know I can read a calendar…
At least it’s not as bad as as this from British newspaper, Daily Telegraph: “Commenting on a complaint from a Mr. Arthur Purdey about a large gas bill, a spokesman for North West Gas said, ‘We agree it was rather high for the time of year. It’s possible Mr. Purdey has been charged for the gas used up during the explosion that destroyed his house.”
