Where ya at?
Just got back from the 05 New Orleans Jazz Fest - three days of being immersed in mind-blowing creativity and talent….Aaron Neville, Los Lonely Boys, The Radiators, Elvis Costello, Tab Benoit, Isaac Hayes…and those are just a few of the people I saw…the list of talent goes on and on…If you’ve not heard of Los Lonely Boys, you’re missing something. The boys can play the “gitar” like few I’ve ever seen. The entire event was a terrific example of great project planning and management….from the crowd control to the food quality to the short waits for the plentiful - ahem - “biofacilities.” I would love to see their project plan.
Always great to get away from day-to-day biz. I’m mentally refreshed and ready to dive back into work. So, what are you doing reading this? Go find something different to do. Your spirit - and business - will benefit.

Very nice! Was at SXSW back in March (Calexico, Son Volt), and same general idea, but more acoustic…total immersion in great music. Lots of research on how music invigorates the synapses…and makes ZiaBandido less cranky and more fun to be around in the office.
