Technology - “Get It” or “Don’t Get It”

In talking to people about my new blog and hearing such things as: “So, are you having fun?”… “Oh, that’s nice.”… “Wow, way cool!”…”Isn’t it great? Power networking!”… “I don’t have time to do blogs.”… “Uh? What’s a blog?” - I realize something about our evolving/revolving world and economy.

It’s not so much the technology “haves” versus the “have nots” (although that’s a fundamental problem that needs to be fixed and fixed now) - it’s really more about the “get its” versus the “don’t get its”

Sure, things like blogs, podcasting, IM, WiFi, and such aren’t necessary for every one. But, if like me you need to - um - make money today - and need to do so for at least the next 20 years - cool technologies aren’t toys - they’re vital to our business. Those “silly” kids with the purple hair and pierced eyebrows are tomorrow’s CEOs - and they “get it.”

Mary - nice blog. I need to figure out how to work in the reading of these as I too find them very informative and efficient.

    All good with your business?
