Rather you’re in B2C, B2B, R2R, B2G, (whatever)….you’re always selling to people…so thoughts on “consumer marketing” are useful in any industry. Here’s something from Starbucks…which doesn’t sell coffee, they sell lifestyle, community, atmosphere.
(Hmmm….and this is the same company they were talking about on Morning Sedition - re mistreatment of employees. I’m not qualified to judge who’s right in such cases - but certainly got my interest. Which brings to mind those surveys finding that people give more credence to statements by a company’s employee than they do to any of the official marketing speak.)
