Nothing happens until you sell something.

Reading recommendation - one new and one (sorta) old book - both about selling. (And, nothing happens until something gets sold.) Lucky accident for me that they’re so complementary.

Call to Action: Secret Formulas to Improve Online Results Excellent “whack in the head” points about not only web sites, but also marketing in general. (This book, by Bryan Eisenberg & Jeffrey Eisenberg, is also a terrific example of viral marketing benefits to both sellers and buyers. I got turned onto the book via several blogs, bought an ‘early bird’ special at a significant savings, plus two free. The book is hitting the big-time now.)

Why We Buy: The Science Of Shopping All about retail consumer marketing - but the points are equally valid for on-line stores. And, human psychology is the same anywhere.

(If you don’t want to buy the books - check out your local library. That’s the only way I can afford my reading habit.)
