So Many Books, So Little Time.

I’ m spending Sunday “holed up” - working on the teetering reading pile.

Both fun and educational - The World Is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century by Thomas Friedman, one of my favorite writers. Intelligent, insightful and accessible. He won the National Book Award in 1989 for his From Beirut to Jerusalem (Updated with a New Chapter) Helped me begin to understand the Middle East.

A complementary read is The Flight of the Creative Class: The New Global Competition for Talent

Hmmm…wonder what summers are like in Bangalore….
