Is Branding “bad?”
An interesting discussion going on over at Laura Ries blog re Alpha Mom. Started by Laura’s excellent points re how our brand affiliations/identities change over our life times. Personally, I believe that “branding” – as both symbolization and categorization – is a basic human psychological need. And, it’s a lot more than a spiffy logo – further, that spiffy logo can mean drastically different things to different people, depending on the context, culture, country.
