How Small Biz Beats Big Biz Almost Every Time - Service!

Car Repairs. Eeekkk! Doesn’t that make just about all of us cringe and defensively clutch our wallet? Well, I hopped in my Jeep Cherokee to run a few errands and it had turned into a “Nova” (One of the classic marketing mistakes of all time, “No Va” in Spanish means “no go.”) So, called one of my past clients, Fulton Motors, and asked for a recommendation re a good, honest mechanic. Before Amy & Duke (it’s a family firm) called me back, they’d already called “Gilly” and told him what they thought the problem was (based on my highly un-technical voice mail description) and to take care of me. Got my car towed and fixed quickly and for far less than anticipated. AND, Gilly called me today just to make sure everything was okay! Now, that’s really cool!

If you’re in the Albuquerque area and need a good “pre-owned” service vehicle (trucks and such) - Amy or Duke Matthews at Fulton Motors will be happy to help. (Amy also saved me from spending a ton of money during a mid-life crisis - all of which seem to involve cars for some reason, but that’s another story.) Need a good mechanic? That’s Ray Gilmore (”Gilly”), Auto-Lab.

Have a good weekend - it’s nice to be able to end on a positive note.
