I agree. I have tried to use the service, once - for buying airline tickets. But it was totally impractical, given my schedule (three layovers, etc.) I do enjoy watching "Captain Kirk" though - especially when trying on the high heels. So, Priceline has at least achieved "mind share" with me - and tickled my sense of humor so I have some "good" feeling toward them. Will I ever use them? Doubtful. And, so it goes.

"How much credence does anybody give to a paid spokesperson?" For me, next to nil. The sway of entertainment is more powerful - such as the PriceLine ads with Williamm Shatner. They are occasionally funny - but the humor is the draw, not Bill. And I stll haven't every used the service.
