Another “wish I’d thought of that.”

Via Iconoculture” Temporary tattoos with emergency contact info give parents low-tech peace of mind” Hmmm…so, what’s not to like? Well, they might not be cool enough for the kids. Even toddlers have very specific ideas about such. They may still be mostly pre-verbal, but they know “NO” very well. Or, the company doesn’t get the word out to enough people (But, Iconoculture is certainly helping.)

Another one of those low-tech (no-tech) moneymakers - right up there with the ubiquitous magnetic ribbons that are on virtually every SUV I see - and the bigger the vehicles are, the more ribbons they have slapped on ‘em. Personally, I’m waiting for the purple “common sense” ribbon before I make a purchase.

Hmmm…no-tech ideas, easy to understand product, hits emotions…good topic for my monthly “girls night out” cocktails. If we come up with any brilliance, I’ll ask for your feedback here.

I love the temporary tattoos,…sometimes the simple solutions are the most elegant.

It’s strange how the oversized magnetic vehicle ribbon hasn’t caught on in Canada. I have seen the smaller lapel-sized ones, and the larger versions that are suitable for your front door.

I think it’s a uniquely U.S. thing - we love to broadcast our idealogy, children’s capabilities and sports team affiliations on our cars. Me - I’m not above it all. One sticker re political view (content on request, via email, since it’s outside the scope of this blog to talk politics), another for Habitat for Humanity. Last but certainly not least, a big magnetic American flag (there since about 9/12/01).

Plus, I think Canadians are just more polite and subtle than us Yanks.
