Blogging to make a difference

Those of you who know me or read this blog regularly know that under my curmudgeonly, cranky exterior beats a heart of marshmallow. And, I also like things to make sense. Clear Path appeals to both my heart and my head with its new blog. You can donate a dollar right there and then. I’ve got that much rollin’ around under my car seat. (snaps to Eric Hansen over at Tom Peters for bringing this to our attention.)

Clear Path International was formed by a group of friends with a wealth of relief-work experience in Vietnam and other parts of Asia. Originally formed as a landmine and bomb removal organization, the Board of Directors recognized the need for a professional non-profit organization to undertake landmine and UXO victim assistance activities in Southeast Asia. In this way, Clear Path International makes a compassionate attempt to redress the destructive legacy of armed conflict and help families get back on track after their often devastating, if not deadly, accidents.

So, a measly little dollar doesn’t seem like much to give, does it?

    Hey!

Thanks for the post! Actually, Clear Path cannot take credit for Blogidarity… we are simply a lucky beneficiary of their efforts.

They will select a new group to assist each month…. we are fortunate to be first.

You can read our blog here: www.cpi.org/cpiblog

    Thank you so much :)

You don’t seem curmudgeonly to me!

  2. Steve Sherlock Says:

Mary, thanks for the plug for Blogidarity and for Clear Path our first (but not last) of the worthy causes Blogidarity will highlight in the coming months.
