Is it “Our” or “Their?”
I’m in recovery from a major computer melt-down - so this will be quick. I’ve been thinking a lot about customer service lately, since I’ve been dealing with Comcast, Qwest and now Apple (I’m back in Apple land, yippee!)
So, when you’re planning for success - do you think “our priorities” and “our goals” - or do you think what their (the customer or client) priorities and goals are? And, remember if you’re selling through a third party, you’re only as successful as their ability to think like the ultimate end user.
P.S. Just going back and scattering “you” and “yours” throughout your marketing collateral doesn’t cut it. The reader/potential customer can spot this slap-dash wordsmithing a mile away - and it really becomes obvious if the “customer focus” doesn’t carry through to your service.

Mary,
Welcome to the land of the enlightened! An Apple! Make sure you check out their presentation package Keynote (I think it’s $50). It reads and writes PowerPoint, but without any of the overhead. And the best part is, it can create a simple HTML slide show which will work with any browser. PowerPoint 97 used to do that, but then they added “features” we all had to have (yeah, right) and broke most of the browsers.

Yes, I feel like I’ve walked into the light! Now, if I can just get used to this new keyboard feel! ‘m resisitng the urge to hug the big ol’ monitor/flat CPU
And, yes, I plan on getting Keynote. Right after I learn how to use Garageband for podcasts and iWork for client materials.
