Five Lessons for Friday
Well, we’ve made it through another week and I’ve got a full “hole up and catch up” weekend planned. But, before I go off the grid - here’s the Friday post where I talk about whatever.
Five Lessons to Live By:
(And, no, don’t ask me how I know #1 and #2. My lips are sealed, see #3).
1. Don’t vacuum when drinking.
2. Don’t iron while nude.
3. Don’t tell secrets. (If more than one person knows it - it’s no longer a secret.)
4. You can think anything you want. (You don’t always have to immediately say it or type it.) This is my Mom’s priceless advice.
5. Whining won’t change a thing. It’ll just irritate your family, your pets and everyone else.
I love this site’s creativity! Cut the Crap. Who says it needs to be high-tech or wildly different to be useful? Can’t we all relate to dogs “gracing” our lawns?
However, I’m sad that the domain is taken as this was the title my sane GOP friends and I were kicking around for our new third party.

This week’s “hmmmm” quotes:
“It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothes. But the half-wit remains a half-wit, and the emperor remains an emperor.” - Neil Gaiman Then there are those instances in history where the Emperor is the half-wit.
“Hatred is the coward’s revenge for being intimidated.” - George Bernard Shaw
Have a great weekend! And, remember, as a fully clothed (!?) President Bush so sagely observed, “It’s a global world.”

Burning question worthy of a Friday afternoon…
Yeah, but is it okay to vacuum when naked or iron while drinking?

Well, I prefer to never vacuum - fully clothed, sober or in any other condition.
Ditto re ironing. But, yes, that would be #6 - “Never iron while drinking.” You might knock over your glass…and good vodka is expensive.
