“I just can’t close a deal. I don’t know how to sell.”

I frequently hear this lament when talking to new business owners. And, selling isn’t easy. But, here’s how the conversation often plays:

MS: So, what is the prospect saying?
Non-closer: Well, I sent the proposal three weeks ago and they haven’t called me!
MS: Have you called them?
Non-closer: Um, no. I’ve been busy.

And so it goes…

Mary, I just got done with a three day tour of “non-closers” with a client that is seeking to transform them into closers.

I think I need a beer! What will you be drinking?

    Grin.

Thanks for stirring the pot…much appreciated,
