“I just can’t close a deal. I don’t know how to sell.”
I frequently hear this lament when talking to new business owners. And, selling isn’t easy. But, here’s how the conversation often plays:
MS: So, what is the prospect saying?
Non-closer: Well, I sent the proposal three weeks ago and they haven’t called me!
MS: Have you called them?
Non-closer: Um, no. I’ve been busy.
And so it goes…
