Martini Musing - Changes of A Lifetime
It’s Friday and the start of a long weekend - so I’m giving myself permission to go wayyyy off the business grid.
I simply want to say, I’m proud to be an American today. And, I’m thrilled that - in my lifetime - we’ve gone from separate water fountains and lynchings to 85,000 people, of all colors and ages, cheering a man named Barack Obama.
Truly, only in America - with all our missteps, flaws, and problems.
We ARE better than this!
Happy Friday - and if you didn’t see it (even ESPECIALLY if you’re not sure about Obama) - here’s his speech.
…and in other news, some guy named Mcsomething is supposed to announce something about somebody today…;-)
P.S. Even Pat Buchanan - yes, that Pat Buchanan - called it the best and most important political convention speech he had ever heard, going back 48 years.
