Making Your Monday Matter
I’ve always done things that some would consider “weird” - including picking up trash off the street when I’m walking somewhere (I’ve also been known to put money in others’ parking meters and pay the toll of the car behind me.) And, now I find out that a young man has written a whole book, “Make Every Monday Matter. 52 Ways to Make A Difference.” - which came about because he picks up litter (not his own.)
So, amidst all the negative crap that goes around and around and around…think about how you can make your (and somebody else’s) Monday matter.
Here’s Monday 36: Be Neighborly
People spend less than 15 minutes a day outside
Asking friends over for dinner has declined 45%
Does your mailman know your neighbors better than you do?
More Mondays including:
Donate Books
Register To Donate Your Organs
Don’t Drive Over The Speed Limit (You’ll save some money, reduce chances of accidents, and reduce your carbon emissions.)
Me? I’m off to buy a housewarming present for the young couple moving in next door today.
